New Century Scholarship

Students must graduate from high school with a minimum GPA of 3.5 AND must complete an Associate’s degree from an eligible Utah Higher Education institution by the date they graduate from a Utah high school. Students should work closely with their high school and college counselors to ensure they take the appropriate courses required by the institution where they will complete their Associate’s degree.

Regents' Scholarship

Regents’ Scholarship encourages Utah high school students to prepare for college academically and financially by taking a core course of study and saving for college. The scholarship may be used at any public college or university in the Utah System of Higher Education, as well as at Brigham Young University-Provo, LDS Business College, and Westminster College.

This is a non-competitive scholarship that many college-bound students find "do-able."

The counseling office has a list of regularly-updated courses that qualify for the scholarship, so stop by and pick up one of these. It is important to note, however, that it is ultimately the student's reponsibility to ensure they are on-track with the requirements. (Because it's a good skill to have for college as well.)

Visit the Regent's Scholarship website to learn everything you need to know about it:
